We seek to have between 6 and 8 concerts annually.  Doors open at 7:00 and the music starts around 7:30. We usually wrap up by 10:00.  You may obtain advanced sales of tickets by contacting Niki Blaske at 903-736-9531.

Live Music, Fine Arts Concert Series presents:

Austin Uprising

July 24, 2009  - Austin Uprising

Live Music, Fine Arts Concert Series presents Austin Uprising, an In-the-Round concert featuring Randy Weeks, Idgy Vaughn and Will Sexton, the songwriters the locals go out to see in the Live Music Capital of the World.  All three are seasoned performers who weave their songs and stories together for a memorable evening. More on Austin Uprising.

Kevin Welch

Sep. 19, 2009  - Kevin Welch

Live Music, Fine Arts Concert Series presents Kevin Welch whose poetic songs paint pictures of real people--people you know, people you've seen--so clearly that you realize quickly he's a keen observer of the human experience. His songs have an almost film-like quality in their vision and beauty. After growing up in Oklahoma, where he played in a popular regional band, Blue Rose Cafe, Kevin moved to Nashville in the late 1970s, upon the suggestion of his friend John Hadley, a professor at the University of Oklahoma. Once in Nashville, he became a songwriter for Tree International. His songs were recorded by such artists as More on Kevin Welch.
